Built Monument Ottawa

For our Built monument we decided to visit The Tomb of the unknown soldier in Ottawa.  The tomb was constructed in 2000, and holds the remains of an unknown soldier that died in WWI, it represents over 115,000 soldiers that have lost their lives fighting for Canada's freedom.  This was a very humbling experience for all of us, and we all felt a strong sense of reverence while standing around the tomb and observing this.

Visiting the tomb was free of charge, and we took a Taxi to get there that cost us about $65 Round trip.
